XXL - Drake vs. Kanye For Album of the Year

XXL Magazine presents the candidates for the best album of 2010, Drake vs. Kanye. Kanye's Good Ass Job is expected to feature Clipse, Drake, BIg Sean and production from Pete Rock, RZA, Q-Tip and himself. Drake's debut album, Thank Me Later, is set to feature Jay-Z, Lil' Wayne, Kayne West and The-Dream. 2010 should be a good year for music with Young Jeezy (TM 103), Ludacris (Ludaversal), Lil' Wayne (Tha Carter IV), and T.I. (Untilted), all expected to drop albums this year.

Kanye's album is going to classic, and from the two tracks that have been released/leaked from Drake's album it sounds like his is gonna be a disappointment. Its kinda sad too, because if Drake were still on his soulful/Phonte flow with the resources he has now, his album would be crazy. But now he's just a young money goon filling his songs and features with basic rhyme schemes and pretentious and meaningless punchlines.

Yeah it looks like Ye's album is going to be great with those features and production. I'm also excited for Jeezy's TM 103, which is rumored to have six or seven tracks produced by Kanye. Jeezy and Ye always seem to make some classics (Put On, Amazing, etc.).
